{Date Box Advice}

As you know when you have a baby at FBC you get a fabulous "Date Box." The box is full of goodies to have a great dinner on the town, a movie at home, and a few other treats. The box, of course, includes a little something special for BABY. . . and it is time for me to order something new. I am looking for ideas. . .

So if you moms have any hints or ideas you want to throw my way I will be glad to listen!

Talk Later.

{Coloring & Counting Sheep}

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.
I am at the church as I peck!
I just put out a cute little lamb color sheet for the little sweet ones!

Don't forget parents to "meet & greet".
We are going to give it a try tomorrow.
Most of our caregivers arrive around 9:05 to 9:10, so that should still give you plenty of time!

See you then!

Love, Tonia

I have got to get some sleep. . . so I am going to go home and count sheep!

{Meet & Greet}

Remember when you load your crew up Sunday . . .

We will have our "Meet & Greet" Policy in place.
This is an effort to protect little fingers and toes.
It will also ad extra security.
This may take a bit to get off the ground. It will be a challenge when a caregiver may need to tend to an upset child, and such, but overall I feel like if we can all work together this will simplify our drop-off and pick-up. Conjested hallways and overcrowded rooms can be overwhelming to infants and toddlers. We want to create a more peaceful enviroment and transition. If possible, sending only one parent to pick up will also reduce traffic, BUT that change isnt necessary at this time.

Nurseries A & B if you are unable to fill out your "Care Sheets" in advance, we will have extras available at the Welcome Desk.

I appreciate all of your support. Room changes, New policies, etc can be a challenge. Greenwood FBC is a growing church. It is an exciting time! With growth, comes change. I am so thankful every Sunday as I continue to meet and see new faces. So what some may view as "Growing Pains" . . . it is God at work. It's a good thing.

We will continue

to strive to make

things better, as we get

bigger!

Love,

Tonia

{Psalm 25:4}

Show me how you work, GOD;
School me in your ways.

{A Special Day}

You will recieve a certificate and their very first Bible.

Baby Dedications

The act of dedication is no small thing that you do. For truly it means that you are dedicating yourself to the task of raising your child in a Christ-centered home.

Baby dedications are scheduled on Sunday afternoons in a private family setting. Feel free to invite those you would want to share in this very special day. Please contact us to schedule a time.

If you have older siblings that have never been dedicated, please know we would like to include them too. This isnt just limited to infants. We want to be able to offer this special time of prayer and commitment to parents of any age child.

Contact me today to schedule a time!

{Thank you}

for all of your thoughts and prayers this week. We are feeling better! I went back to the doctor on Friday and have an ear infection. I knew something crazy was happening in my ear!

Today was our first official day out and about, and my kiddos tired easily. I may leave them home tomorrow with Brad, but I will be at church. I haven't heard of any of your kiddos being sick. Although, I think I read on FB that A. McNutt may have chicken pox, and Ms. Melissa's little girl Alli isn't well either. Get well soon!

I sure hope you are all doing well. Do your best to take care of yourself.

And remember this verse:

God not only loves you very much but also has put His hand on you for something special.

{Faith or Fear?}

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;for thou art with me;thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
~~ Psalm 23:4 ~~

Although God has guided us through our struggles and troubles many times before, it is easy for us to lose hope whenever we face adversity, uncertainty, or unwelcome changes.The next time you find yourself facing a fear-provoking situation, remember that the One who calmed the wind and the waves is also your personal Savior. Then ask yourself which is stronger: your faith or your fear. The answer should be obvious. So, when the storm clouds form overhead and you find yourself being tossed on the stormy seas of life, remember this: wherever you are, God is there, too. And, because He cares for you, you are protected.

If God has you in the palm of his handand your real life is secure in him, then you can venture forth into the placesand relationships, the challenges,the very heart of the storm and you will be safe there. ~~ Paula Rinehart
