{Just a reminder. . . }

The colorful boxes for Nic are still located in the nursery foyer. I also received a list from Dana O. that explained more in detail things that are needed for their upcoming trip. I will do my
best to post some of those things soon. ALSO, notice the pictures I have posted on our "memo boards" beside each class door. These are some of the precious children our "Nic Teams" have met on their mission trips.

Take advantage of this opportunity here at home to teach your little one about giving, and others needs.
Love,
Tonia
P.S. I sent home some dirty "Critters" tonight, but we had a ball! Thank you so much for bringing them to see us on Wednesday Nights.

{Shout out to Rick Warren!}

While in CA I was privileged enough to visit 3 very inspiring churches.
These particular images are from Saddleback, Rick Warrens church.

You know, The Purpose Driven Life dude? One of my all-time favorites. Apparently I am not alone because it is the bestselling hard back in American History, selling over 30 million copies!!! That speaks volumes to me! People are searching. . . for our LORD!!

I got some neat-o ideas, and I will share them with you here and there.
Saddleback has over 20,000 members, sooooo they must be
doing something right. Right?
Very Exciting times at

If you were able to attend this morning, I hope you enjoyed Clara Mae. She is a neat-o lady.

{Kids for NIC}

HELP!
Please! Please! Please!
Hello! I am home!
It was a very exciting time in CA for your Children's Ministry!

In the nursery foyer you will see some bright colored boxes.
Please help us fill them with any of the following for NICARAGUA!
  • McDonald's Toys
  • Bibs
  • Small rattles
  • Onsies
  • Any other small baby/toddler item that would travel easy

These items DO NOT need to be new!

This is a very good opportunity to teach your little one about giving to those less fortunate!

Don't let it pass by!

{Meet Guest Blogger Rachel Grigg}

Hello! Today I would love to introduce Rachel Grigg to you. She is one of our nursery caregivers, puppeteers, and helps clean our nursery clean & healthy!

Hi! I'm Rachel, and I love working in the Nursery! Seeing all the bright shining faces of your children every week just makes my day! The nursery however is not all I do, I'm also a college student. I'm majoring in History with a minor in English at University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. I love going to school and learning everyday, and I am very thankful that God has blessed me with this opportunity.

I would like to share my favorite verse with you. This verse has given me so much encouragement over the last few years, and I hope that it does the same for you.

Romans 5:3-5 (English Standard Version)
3More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

My life is crazy. Probably not as crazy as those of you with children, but between school, work, and attempting at a social life I can get pretty busy. Let us not forget to put in time for Jesus daily. Look for God in everything; driving in the car, listening to music, or even taking a walk outside to see God's creation are all great ways to enjoy the gifts that He has given us daily. I pray that you all have a wonderful day and I can't wait till I see your kids again!

Isn't she great? I love her, and I wanted to share her with you!

Have a wonderful wonderful week!

Love,

Tonia
