{Parenting March 2010 Issue}

What Motherhood Means to Me. . .

I used to think motherhood meant getting the basics right. Feed her, change her, rock her to sleep. The rest would fall into place, right? The moment of awakening came the day she pointed to a picture of a mug and said "Coffee. Mama coffee." Then I understood. I was being watched.

Very True.

Have a great day!

Remember this verse as you start your week. . .

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men. Colossians 3:23

{Summer Weekday Activity. . . Would you be interested?}

In these pictures you can tell just how fast these critters move! Lots of blurs! We missed alot of you this morning. I hope you enjoyed the D-Now Worship Service.
A HuGe ThAnKyOu to those whom served in the nursery this morning! As you all know we had plenty of help!

These are scenes from Wednesday Critter Class. I have enjoyed this class so much.
I am curious to know if parents would be interested in a "story hour" or "craft hour" over the summer break?
I would love to offer something maybe during the week. . .
If you think this would be something you would be interested in please let me know.
If I have some interest then I would love to offer a good time to the little ones!
I am sure going to miss them when they promote to Preschool, and that is just around the corner!
I know they are ready, and I am sure looking forward to moving on up. They will continue to grow and learn about God, and that blesses my heart.
I hope you all have a wonderful week!
Visit our blog as often as you can.

{Please Buckle Up, Please~Pretty Please}

I wanted to pass along these tips for getting your little one strapped in!

"I'll race you to the car!"

"Here's a wipe to clean the windows before we go."

"Can you push the garage-door remote for me?"

"How many doggies do you think we'll see on the way?"

"Do you think you can sing your ABC's by the time I buckle you in?"

Maybe this will help!

{Parents! Mark your calendars! You wont want to miss!}

Come Learn, Eat, Be Refreshed, and Encouraged!
Parents of Birth-4th grade children. . .
The mission statement for the children’s ministries of FBC from birth-4th grade is to create a partnership with parents to raise responsible adults that love, obey, and serve God. The staff of the children’s ministries of birth-4th grade want to accomplish this by beginning to meet on or around the 5th Sunday of each month.

On Sunday, March 21st, Clara Mae VanBrink from Canton, GA. has been invited to speak to parents of birth-4th children to encourage and motivate parents to raise godly families in an unpredictable world with a faith that can move mountains!!

Clara Mae VanBrink has conducted conferences for teachers and parents in 30 states and 5 foreign countries. She is a writer for Lifeway Christian Resource’s literature and various magazines.

We look forward to providing families with information that will encourage not only to raise godly children but also put a fire for God in the hearts of parents as well.

See you on Sunday, March 21st, 9:15 am & 10:45 (option). . .

We will be providing a breakfast for you!

I have met this lady, and she is full of wisdom and encouragement!
