{Nursery Notice}

We will have ONE service tomorrow at FBC. The service will begin at 10:45. No Life Groups will meet.

If you were on the 5th Sunday Schedule for 9:15 or 10:30, and can make it, that would be wonderful.

I have had several calls, so I am not real sure what to expect.

Please do what is best for your family. We want everyone to stay safe.

See you soon.
Love,
Tonia

{Lots of Love. . .}

Good morning friends! Notice it's just after 10:00 am. . . . I don't think anything should start before 10 am! Ya'll hear me?

I have been reading Parenting Magazine this morning, and over the next few weeks I will share some of the things I thought were cute and sweet. . .

pg 13

Why Valentine's Day is REALLY a Kids' Holiday

1. Grown-ups just can't pull off wearing red and pink together.

2. We never get to decorate recycled shoe boxes and drop funny notes inside them.

3. Those little message hearts - Hot Stuff! - are way less creepy when given by a 3-year-old.

4. C'mon, a glue-and glitter-encrusted paper heart beats a dozen roses any day!

Cute, huh?

Have a wonderful day.

Please remember all of our sick little ones. I think there are several icky bugs out there right now.

Pictures from Crafty Class soon. . . Lots of Love. . .

{Mr. C ~ Updates ~ 5th Sunday ~ Schedules~ Puppets}

This little sweetheart (Caden) has pneumonia. Please stay a prayer for him today.
Update: Emily W. was able to come home last night! I haven't heard from her mommy today, but I will keep you posted!
5th Sunday Schedule with go out in the mail today.
I am currently working on the FEBRUARY SCHEDULE, it will be much like January. . . so PLEASE let me know if you need to make changes ASAP.
Please pray for our "puppet ministry". We are involving some Youth and Middle School Students. They are excited and full of energy. Encourage them when they bring the Puppet Crew to your nursery door.

I seen Debbie Grays fb status which said, "Micheal was out of surgery, sitting up talking!!"
Thank you Lord!
Pray for Micheal.

{An invite:}

It's a baby shower!

The EDGE on

Saturday, Jan 30

from 10 to noon

for Shannon Lowe

Welcome Baby Kale!

{Pray for those at ACH}

Update:

Miss Emily was transported to ACH last night. She just kept running fever. . . but Mrs. Mandy has reported that she is drinking alot today, and hasn't had fever since 1 am. They are looking into her having mono. Please continue to pray for their family.

Also, Micheal McCutcheon will be having surgery today. I sure hate to give any false reports, because unfortunately his situation is very confusing to me. I know he has a fungal infection is his lungs, and it needs to removed. Please lift them up in your prayers everyday. Having a sick child is so frightening. It causes tremendous stress on families, and they need the hand of God to provide comfort. . . and healing.

I do want to say thank you so much to all of you whom volunteered for our 5th Sundays!

I took a huge

LEAP of FAITH

by not scheduling caregivers. . . and God. . . he provided.

God always provides.

Have a wonderful Tuesday.

Make it count.

{Lilys Baptism ~ Updates on the Williams ~ 5th Sunday}

Today was a special day for our family.
Thank you Lord for today.
Miss E. Williams is still in the hospital. Please continue to pray for her. She is still running a temperature. Doctors think she may be able to come home on Wednesday.
We still need extra hands to volunteer for our 5th Sundays. I didn't schedule caregivers for this day to avoid anyone serving more than once a month. But we must be prepared to provide excellent care, so if you don't mind "going above and beyond", or are looking for a place to serve on occasion, please let me know Monday or Tuesday. I will have things in order by then.
Have a wonderful week.
Tell the Good News!!

{Updates ~ Baptism}

My baby girl will be baptized tomorrow during the 10:30 Worship. My heart is full of joy and I have been teary all day. I love the refreshing renewel that baptism brings. I hope you all will
join my family (if you can) and celebrate with us. Lily is such a blessing, and she has a big heart for others.

Also, Please remember to lift The Williams up in prayer. Miss Em still has fever, and is still in the hospital.
I spoke with Leah Ramsey earlier, and she said little Peyton woke up this morning saying, "Da-Da", Praise the Lord!

{Love, Love, Love}

Oh what fun we continue to have in our "Critter Class"! This was our week before last craft, and Courtney REMEMBERED that she wasn't there to do it. She said she wanted to do her craft from "last year". Cute, huh?
Ms. Jo and Mrs. Jasmine both were under the weather Wednesday (hope you are feeling better!), so we brought in the little guys. Sweet Issac wasn't so sure about getting his hand painted.

I think he really liked the way it felt, but just wasnt sure what would come next.
Bless his heart.
I adore this project. Parents, please allow me to encourage you to take a little time each day to teach/talk/sing with your little one. We sent home with you a wonderful "tool" to teach your child about LOVE. The blogspot also had additional fun ways to learn about God's Goodness. . . like the little song about patience. You may use the link to go to YouTube and hear.

Precious hands.

Please Mom!
Do our craft with us!
We will LOVE it!

See you Sunday!
Send me pictures of your "LOVE CRAFT" time with your little one!
Be glad to share on our blog!
  • Please look back for updates on Peyton.
  • Prayer request for Miss E.
  • 5th Sunday is almost here! Have you told me, "I can help!"

It's the weekend.

Show some LOVE to someone!

{Another Sweet One in need of your prayers}

Please pray for Miss Emily Williams.
She is in the hospital with pneumonia.
Her mom said she was doing better as of tonight,
but please lift up the Williams in prayer.

{Update}

Leah called me this afternoon. She said little Peyton is doing better. She gave me some details, but I sure don't want to report anything wrong. The most important thing is that their prayers were answered. God gave them the miracle they needed.

Thank you Lord.

Thank you all for your prayers.

{Urgent Prayer Request}

Leah Ramsey called me earlier and told me one of her good friends (from the Little Rock area) nephew pulled a 52 inch TV over on his little 2 year old body.

He is in Children's. He has had brain surgery, but has not woke up. . .

Please, Please pray for Peyton Harris.

{My Body, Strong and Good}

I have two eyes that wink and blink,

I have a mind to make me think,

I have two hands that clap for fun,

I have two feet that jump and run,

I have two ears to hear a song,

Two lips to praise Him all day long,

I have a body strong and good,

To use for Jesus as I should.

{Sweet faces ~ Haiti ~ Investments}

This sweet little Wednesday Crafty Class continues to bless my heart! I just really enjoy the one-on-one time with the kids. This is us trying to play
Ring~around~the~rosies. They really had so much fun

with their "friends"! They were a little

uncertain at first, as you can see their faces.

Not to mention these pictures are put in backwards.

But, none the less, we had a great time!
Courtney is like, "you want me to do what?"

Sweet faces.

We traced their sweet hands, and made some flowers.

As we traced, we sang.
We talked.
We are learning about God's love.
We are growing stronger everyday!
Parents and Friends,
These sweet little faces and scenes are far different from what we a seeing on the news right now. My heart is broken for the poor people in Haiti. Please remember to lift them up to our Lord. We have got to cry out to Him to send these hurting people comfort.
They need help with their babies. They are on the ground. They are wrapped dead in sheets. It is just horrible. Take time. Just a little time to talk to God today.
Thank you to:
Dana Reeves
Kay Womack
Jasmine McBride
for helping with our Wednesday Eve Nursery Ministries.
Parents: if you don't know these ladies, I want to encourage you to get to know them, and let them know how much you appreciate their commitment to your child.
Send them a card.
Give them a phone call.
Investment in your child's life shouldn't go unnoticed.
